Rob Stewart Search - How you can help.. Our dear friend Rob went missing on Tuesday after resurfacing from a deep-water dive on the Queen of Nassau wreck near Alligator Reef off Islamorada.

VOLUNTEER EFFORTS

If you know anyone in the Florida Keys, we could really use Beach walkers: please walk the shorelines of Marathon, Duck Key, Conch Key, and Long Key - the more walkers the better. We need those shorelines combed and the beaches searched just as much as we need the boats out there.

Environmentalist, shark activist and filmmaker Rob Stewart did not return from a dive off Islamorada in the Florida Keys yesterday. Search assets are being mobilised now, and if you have a boat or skills that may be useful in a search and recovery operation, please contact the Florida Coast Guard centre or if you are at sea, the cutter Charles Sexton on channel 16.

Specifically: “Divers and boats can also call the coast guard command center in Key West 305-292-8729. Boats can call the cutter leading the search called Charles Sexton, on channel 16. Divers please call Horizon Divers to go out at first light. We particularly need salavge divers or anyone with specialized search equipment and divers who can dive to deep depths (~280 ft)
