First introduced at DEMA in 2012, Dive and See is now producing its DNC-N aluminum underwater housing for the Atomos Ninja 2 recorder/monitor. The company also provides a wide variety of bulkheads for most manufacturer’s camera housings, as well as a right angle HDMI connector.

The housing sells for $1599.

MOUNTING CAPABILITY

The set includes a detachable mount adapter, allowing the underwater monitor to be tilted and rotated, with 1” ball on the end.

Binding T-slots on the top and bottom allow convenient connection with underwater housings and arms, manufactured by Ultralight and Beneath the Surface. It is useful for lighting or an external microphone.

QUICK DETACHABLE CONNECTORS

No matter how good a monitor is, if your can’t connect to your underwater housing then it won’t be helpful. We make various types of bulkhead connectors (M12 Amphibico, Aquatica, Gates …; M14 Subal…; M16 Nauticam …) for different housings. The DNC-N has a detachable HDMI cable for a quick connection with a bulkhead connector on the housing. You can easily install it on your housing yourself. The un-pluggable cable is convenient for transportation. The bulkhead connector is compatible with DNC-7 and DNC-5. A dual o-ring seals the bulkhead HDMI connector and increases the reliability of the connection. The first o-ring works as an axial seal and the second as a radial seal to assure continued sealing. Custom bulkhead connector, cable or HDMI adaptor - available as an option.

SWITCH PROTECTOR

The Switch Guard design of the power button protects the monitor from self-activation during transportation. All push buttons made are from non-corrosive steel.

MINI HDMI RIGHT ANGLE CONNECTOR

Our unique right-angle connector allows our monitors to easily fit with existing photo and video housings.
